One person dead after northeast Columbus shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- One person is dead Thursday night after a shooting in northeast Columbus.

According to a Columbus police dispatcher, the shooting happened on the 4100 block of Blendon Grove Way at approximately 9:34 p.m.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but pronounced dead at 10:30 p.m.

There is no word on what led to the shooting or any suspect information available at this time.
