The Punjab BJP has confirmed that Sunil Jakhar continues to lead the party in the state, dismissing rumors of his resignation. Despite Jakhar's absence from a recent meeting, party officials emphasized it was not necessary for him to attend every event. Jakhar was appointed as Punjab BJP chief in July 2023.
