Crews respond to gas tank rollover in Catskill
CATSKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Catskill Fire Company (CFC) announced that at 3:35 a.m. on Friday, it responded along with Catskill Ambulance for a report of a gas tank rollover with the gas tank leaking. The rollover was just before exit 21 on I-87 in Catskill.
Luckily, the gas tank was only leaking spring water as it could've been a much more dangerous situation for the rescue crews involved with gas being extremely flammable and the rollover being on a hill with liquid running down the road. The driver was shaken but okay, per the CFC.
