R Ashwin breaks Anil Kumble’s Historic Record after Najmul Hossain Shanto’s Wicket in IND vs BAN 2nd Test

Veteran Indian all-rounder R Ashwin has gone above legendary cricketer Anil Kumble during the 2nd Test against Bangladesh on September 29.
Ashwin achieved this feat as he dismissed Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto.

R Ashwin has become the second-most wicket-taker in Test matches on Asian soil. He surpassed Anil Kumble to reach the second place on the list of most wicket takers in Asia.

Before this match, both Ashwin and Anil had 419 wickets to their name, but now as Ashwin took the wicket of Shanto, he crossed Anil in the list.
