The assembly constituencies of Kupwara and Handwara in northern Kashmir will determine the fate of People's Conference chief Sajad Lone. Lone, who lost the last Lok Sabha elections, is hopeful for a comeback. The elections are part of the third phase of polling in J&K, involving 38 other seats across the Union Territory.
