ASX slips as Wall Street steadies; OpenAI valued at $US157 billion

The Australian sharemarket has slightly tiered down since opening this morning, but the index continues to be up as US stocks drifted overnight, and Treasury yields rose following an encouraging update on the job market’s strength.
