Winnipeg police shoot and kill male they say was armed with edged weapons

In a news conference early Wednesday evening, Winnipeg police revealed they had shot and killed a male earlier that day in an apartment building in the 800 block of Main Street. They said officers were responding to multiple 911 calls about a male armed with edged weapons.
