Two school officials, Uday Kotwal and Tushar Apte, were arrested by Thane crime branch in relation to the Badlapur sexual assault case involving minor girls. This follows the Bombay High Court's rejection of their bail pleas. The main accused, Akshay Shinde, was killed in a police encounter during a transfer.
