Teen struck in the face with a brick in Brooklyn: NYPD
BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn (PIX11) -- A man is wanted in connection to an altercation on Sept. 13 in Brownsville, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened near Pitkin Avenue and Watkins Street around 11:39 p.m.
Police say an unidentified individual approached an 18-year-old and the two engaged in a verbal dispute.
During the altercation, the victim was struck in the face with a brick, police say. The suspect fled on foot heading east on Pitkin Avenue.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center for treatment.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a black Nike ski mask and a blue Nike sweatsuit. The NYPD released the following surveillance images of the suspect.
