TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro is among the candidates to take charge of the Esteghlal Football Club.

Javad Nekounam stepped down as the team's head coach following a 2-0 loss against Al Sadd of Qatar in the 2024-25 AFC Champions League Elite last week.
