Area Jewish and Palestinian communities hold rallies on the first anniversary of Oct. 7 attacks

Two Toledo-area rallies — one pro-Israel and one pro-Palestine — sounded contrasting messages Monday a year after the massacre of Israeli victims and hostage-taking by Hamas militants, which was followed by a barrage of Gaza by Israeli Defense Forces.
