I’M A Celebrity is in talks to sign football legend Ally McCoist – after he turned the show down twice before.
The Rangers hero, 62, is being eyed up for a spot in the jungle – with hosts Ant and Dec desperate to secure him this time around.
The Scottish pundit will certainly have some stories to tell, having recently revealed he was once targeted by a crazed female fan who had escaped from prison.
A source told The Mirror: “Ally has such a huge fan base thanks to his years of commentating and punditry, plus his long stint on A Question of Sport.
“He’d be great for the jungle – as his wife and kids have been telling him forever – so everyone is really hopeful that this will be the year.”
The Sun previously revealed stars Tulisa Contostavlos, dancer Oti Mabuse and Corrie’s Alan Halsall have been scouted this year.
