Lukashenko sees CIS as strong union of powerful, economically self-sufficient sovereign states

The CIS should be a strong union of powerful, economically self-sufficient sovereign states, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he addressed the CIS summit held in Moscow on 8 October.
