STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers have been left stunned as they spotted a famous face in the audience cheering on Sarah Hadland.
Actor James Lance, who is best known for his role as Ted Crimm in Ted Lasso, was seen beaming as Sarah Hadland performed to the Billie Eilish hit ‘Birds of a Feather’.

On social media, one fan wrote: “When you’re watching Strictly and see that a flash of the glorious hair and think I’m sure that’s James Lance in the audience. Then dad turns and says “that’s that reporter out of Ted Lasso“.
Another shared: “Oh its Trent Crimm, The Independent in the front row.”
“NOT A DRILL: TRENT CRIMM IS IN THE AUDIENCE!” posted another.
Another added: “TRENT CRIMM THE INDEPENDENT WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE.”
“I spot James Lance in the audience! May seem redundant but can we just put the camera on him all episode?” shared another.
Sarah has previously spoken about her bond with James, as she revealed that before she had signed up to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing she was already a super fan alongside pals Sian Gibson and James Lance.
Mentioning they’re in a Strictly Whatsapp group, she previously revealed: “They’ve all been desperate for me to do it for years. Every year they’re like, ‘Come on do it’.”
Sarah has already been hit by criticism after an old interview with Alex Kingston has resurfaced with Sarah discussing her previous dance training, leading some viewers to suggest she has an unfair advantage.
Comic actress Sarah has insisted that she studied ballet but it wasn’t more than a few lessons as she explained: “My mum was a ballet dancer.
“I did ballet the same way that most little girls do, at the local scout hut, and I wasn’t very good!”
Yet the actress did go on to learn modern and tap alongside ballet and jazz when she attended musical theatre college.
However she’s been clear to fans that it hasn’t helped her for Strictly as she shared: “I’ve never done any ballroom. I’ve never done any Latin in my life, and it’s completely different to any of those disciplines.
“But I did do shows in the West End. I did musical theatre, where there was singing and dancing, but quite early on, I decided I wanted to act.”
