Assam will celebrate the recognition of Assamese as a Classical language with 'Bhasa Gourav Saptah' from 3 to 9 November, 2024. Special events will be hosted by universities, schools, and civil organizations to honor contributions of Assamese writers and scholars. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma seeks cooperation from all citizens for the celebration.
