FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Sunday Night,
It has been a beautiful day with plenty of wind, sunshine, and temps well above normal around 80. Tonight a stronger cold front will slide south across our area. This will bring a few isolated showers possible, with lows still dropping to near normal in the upper 40s. Expect breezy conditions again on Monday with a few late day light showers, a good deal of clouds and much colder temps on Monday with highs only in the middle 50s.
Monday night we will be on the backside of a low to our north, and temps will remain below normal in the upper 30s to near 40 with showers possible. Rain showers will still pivot through our area on Tuesday, with mainly cloudy skies, and highs barely into the middle 50s. Plenty of us, especially north of I-70 (outside of Columbus), will have highs in the lower 50s on Tuesday.
Tuesday night the skies will start to clear later, with a breeze still around, lows will drop to the mid to upper 30s. The breeze may allow many of us to avoid a frost. Wednesday will be a bright and brisk day with highs in the middle 50s. Thursday will likely start off frosty for everyone with lows in the low to mid 30s.
Thursday skies will be sunny, with highs in the lower 60s. We will climb to the upper 60s with sunny skies on Friday. This warm-up should continue through the weekend, with highs in the lower 70s on Saturday, and lower 70s Sunday with tons of sunshine due to high pressure.
