Zeeshan Siddiqui, the son of murdered NCP leader Baba Siddiqui, had received threats just days before the incident occurred, reported ANI citing Mumbai police. During interrogation, the suspects revealed that both Zeeshan and Baba Siddiqui were targets, and they had been instructed to open fire on anyone they encountered. The Mumbai police confirmed that the accused were contracted to kill both Zeeshan and Baba Siddiqui.
