Brothers John David & Malcolm Washington Join Danielle Deadwyler at 'The Piano Lesson' Screening in London
The Washington brothers are stepping out for a special screening of their new movie!
John David and Malcolm Washington joined Danielle Deadwyler posed for photos as they arrived at the special screening of The Piano Lesson held during the 2024 BFI London Film Festival on Saturday (October 12) at The Royal Festival Hall in London, England.
Also in attendance was John David and Malcolm‘s sister Katie Washington, who serves as a producer on the movie.
Keep reading to find out more…Here’s the movie’s synopsis from Netflix: “Set in 1936 Pittsburgh during the aftermath of the Great Depression, The Piano Lesson follows the lives of the Charles family in the Doaker Charles household and an heirloom, the family piano, which documents the family history through carvings made by their enslaved ancestor.”
John David and Danielle star in the movie adaptation of the 1987 play of the same name by August Wilson, which Malcolm directed.
The Piano Lesson comes to select theaters on November 8 and will be released on Netflix on November 22. Watch the trailer here!
