US men’s team off to a winning start under Pochettino on route to 2026 hosting
October 14 – Mauricio Pochettino made a successful debut in charge of the United States as he led them to a 2-0 friendly win over Panama on Saturday.
In June the US lost to Panama in the 2024 Copa America finals having also lost to them in the semi-finals of the Concacaf Gold Cup in 2023.
Pochettino, who left Chelsea in May after one season in charge, was appointed last month to replace Gregg Berhalter,
