Ferrari's Ristorante celebrates 50 years in Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Ferrari's Ristorante, an Italian restaurant in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood, is celebrating 50 years of business. As a way for the business to show their appreciation for the community, they will be offering month-long specials for take-out and dine-in.
Since 1974, the restaurant has been offering authentic Italian dishes while creating a welcoming, family-centered space. Founded by three brothers Anthony, Vince and Joe, alongside their parents, the restaurant has created a lasting legacy in Schenectady.
From hosting family dinners to community events, Ferrari's is a destination for both locals and visitors. Assemblymember Angelo Santabarbara celebrated the business with a special state recognition.
As a way to say "thank you" Ferrari's is offering celebratory specials. For dine-in, the business is offering a $50 meal for two. The meal includes:
- An appetizer choice between:
- arancini or stuffed mushrooms
- An entree choice (served with a salad and your choice of pasta) between:
- Chicken Cacciatore with Pasta*
- Eggplant Parm with Pasta*
- Linguini and Clams
- Veal Parmigiano with Pasta*
- A dessert choice between:
- Canoli or Creampuff
For take-out, the restaurant is offering a $50 to go meal. The meal can feed up to five people and includes:
- An entree choice between:
- Chicken Parmigiano
- Eggplant Parmigiano
- Veal Parmigiano
- A family-style salad
- Family-style ziti
- Italian bread
Ferrari's is open Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 125 Congress Street. To make a reservation or to place a take-out order, call 518-382-8865.
