'All good' between Rasmus Dahlin and Peyton Krebs after fight breaks out during Sabres practice

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A fight broke out between two players at Sabres practice Monday ahead of Wednesday's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins, but the two say its "all good."

It all started early on when centre Peyton Krebs accidentally hit captain and defenseman Rasmus Dahlin with a high stick.

Moments later, Dahlin evened the score, as Coach Lindy Ruff put it, and hip checked Krebs in open ice. The two dropped the gloves and a fight broke out. They had to be separated by their teammates.

The two spoke afterwards and Dahlin instantly told WIVB News 4 that he regretted hitting Krebs. "Stuff happens out there and I regret it now," he said. "I apologized, it's all good out there."

"I think I was driving to the net and got him in the face," Krebs said. "He's a passionate guy and that's why we love him, it's all good."

"Boys will be boys ... I wouldn't read to much into that," Ruff said. "We want competitive practices so I think every now and then the emotions will run a little bit high but that's a good place to be."
