Man fatally shot in East Garfield Park
A man was shot to death late Tuesday morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The man, 34, was in the 3400 block of West Jackson Boulevard when he was approached by a gunman who shot at him around 11:15 a.m., Chicago police said.
The unidentified man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was dead at the scene, police said.
The shooter left the scene in a silver SUV and has not been arrested.
Area 4 detectives are investigating.
