Cruise ship Silver Ray anchors in Paphos
The cruise ship Silver Ray anchored this morning off the coast of Kato Paphos, with over 1,000 passengers and crew.
According to the Paphos Port and Marine Police, the vessel is carrying 535 crew members and 596 passengers.
The ship arrived at 8am and offers its passengers the chance to disembark and explore some of the rich archaeological sites and attractions within the Paphos District.
The Silver Ray is scheduled to depart from the Kato Paphos marina at 7pm, continuing its voyage after a brief stay in the region.
This visit is part of an 11-day round-trip cruise from Athens Piraeus, which began on October 12, 2024, and is set to conclude on October 23, 2024. Before arriving in Paphos, the ship made a stop in Mykonos, Rhodes, Kusadasi and Bodrum in Turkey. Its next destination will be Ayios Nikolaos in Crete.
