Candidate for Montgomery Co. Exec talks issues with NEWS10
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) - In addition to the presidential, congressional and state races on the November ballot, the general election will decide the next Montgomery County Executive. Democrat Robert Purtell is trying to win his first full term after being appointed back in May.
Purtell says a majority of the county's focus is on the big communities such as Amsterdam and Gloversville. He wants to put more attention on the county's rural areas.
Purtell sat down with News10's Lydia Kulbida to discuss the issues facing Montgomery County.
