Both clubs are in good financial health
TBR Football report that both Spurs and West Ham are in good financial health, due to the high turnover they generate.
While Tottenham’s turnover of £550m during the last financial year was comfortably higher than their London rivals, the Hammers had the highest turnover outside the so-called ‘big six, generating a revenue of £253m.
This means that neither club are in a particularly difficult position with respect to PSR and can afford to spend relatively freely in the upcoming transfer windows.

Decision on ticket prices
However, despite this, both London clubs have made some controversial decisions concerning season tickets. Spurs and West Ham announced earlier this year that they would effectively phase out concessionary ticket prices for seniors.
This has not gone down well with either set of supporters, and TBR Football now reveals that there will be joint protests by the two sets of fans about the decision ahead of the big clash on Saturday.
Speaking to the FSA, a spokesperson for Tottenham Hotspur’s Save Our Seniors group said: “This is a choice, not a necessity. There is no financial reasoning for removing senior concessions. This is not a business decision.
“This is the culmination of years of erosion of senior discounts based purely on the politics and values of the club chairman and executive board.”

Daniel Levy to meet with Tottenham’s supporters trust
Meanwhile, it has also emerged over recent days that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has agreed to meet with the Fan Advisory Board to hear their concerns regarding the decision on senior concessions.
THST confirmed to Football.London on Wednesday that the members of the FAB will speak to the Spurs supremo and express their discontent with the club’s ‘misguided’ decision.
