Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation for expanding Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal. The project will cost Rs 1,550 crore and includes a new terminal building, parking bays, and taxiways. Aimed at handling 10 million passengers annually, the new facilities will be environment-friendly and integrate renewable energy. The project was approved in August.
