Man shot dead in Chatham home
A man was shot and killed Sunday morning inside a home in Chatham on the South Side.
About 6:30 a.m., the man was inside a home in the 800 block of East 89th Place when someone shot him in the abdomen, Chicago police said.
The man, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.
No one is in custody.
