A BBC News presenter was caught downing a drink and pulling faces at the camera in a major blunder.
Azadeh Moshiri was at the centre of the mishap, which viewers spotted.
Blissfully unaware she was on camera, the star took large sips from her glass of water.
While enjoying her drink, she also pulled faces at the camera.
Afterwards, Azadeh remarked: “Next time, I’ll just trust your cue.”
Eagle-eyed viewers took to social media upon witnessing the gaffe.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one quipped: “This is how all news bulletins should start.”
While another joked: “Stay hydrated everyone!”
It’s not the first time that a BBC star was in an epic mishap live on air.
Anitta McVeigh was previously left red-faced after viewers saw her scrolling on her phone.
She appeared to be under the impression there was a commercial break, but was actually on live TV.
Meanwhile, the blunder lasted for over a minute before the anchor realised what was happening.
Taking to social media, as viewer said: “The moment Annita started checking her phone was when I started panicking.”
A second wrote: “This is so funny.”
“Annita is such a pro, laughing at this,” said a third.
Meanwhile, BBC Radio 4 star Nick Robinson had a mortifying moment by getting a top politician’s name very wrong live on air.
Nick, 61, later apologised for mispronouncing shadow chancellor Jeremy Hunt‘s name as a rude word.
Shocked listeners heard him accidentally say “c***” as he spoke about welfare cuts.
The presenter later explained: “The eagle-eared amongst you have just pointed out that I repeated what was known as the Jim Naughtie error up until my last interview in which I mispronounced the name of the former Conservative chancellor, the current shadow chancellor.
“So, can I just apologise to Jeremy Hunt.
“Again, I’m so sorry.”
