Saturday Kitchen viewers furious as guest chef wears ‘completely inappropriate’ revealing outfit for cooking segment
SATURDAY Kitchen fans were left furious after a guest chef wore something ‘completely inappropriate’ for her cooking segment.
BBC One viewers couldn’t believe their eyes when Kate Carter-Larg appeared on the daytime show this weekend in a low cut strapless top paired with jeans and a brown belt.

But those at home felt her getup was “too revealing for a cooking segment”, with some rushing to X, formerly Twitter, with their anger.
One tweeted: “She changed into that top to cook?!” with another saying: “‘One guest dressed for summer’… ‘Has Kate just arrived back from a night out?'”
Someone else pointed out: “I can’t concentrate on the show for worrying about her top falling down. She’s pulling and tugging it as it keeps slipping.”
A third agreed: “I know… innapropriate dress code,” with a fourth concluding: “Wardrobe issues can definitely take attention away from the show itself. Hopefully it gets sorted out quickly so everyone, including her, can feel more at ease.”
Kate soon his back on Instagram with a playful video of herself reading some of the online comments, vowing never to stop dressing like she “lives at the beach”.
She wrote: “Making light of the frankly INSANE Daily Mail ‘article’ yesterday after our little business appeared on national TV, and all the stupid comments it sparked.
“Thanks to everyone else for all the love, support and new followers we’ve gained! Ps I will never stop dressing like I live at the beach. #saturdaykitchen #trolls.”
It’s not the first time Saturday Kitchen viewers have been left raging, though.
Back in July, show fans were left up in arms as the live show was pulled from the schedule.
While Saturday Kitchen viewers did get their fix of host Matt Tebbutt at 10am, the programme had switched from BBC One to BBC Two.
Not only that, but the show’s food heaven and hell scenarios appeared very familiar to regular viewers – who recognised them as repeats.
Instead of airing a live show, programme bosses had opted to re-run a highlights reel of the best bits through the months.
It was dubbed Saturday Kitchen’s Tastiest Treats and featured recipes from chefs including Gennaro Contaldo, Yotam Ottolenghi and Paul Ainsworth.
One angry fan took to X to moan: “Another chance to show more REPEATS this program really is going downhill fast and no brakes.”
Another put: “That’s called Best Bites. Run out of ideas and guests?”
