A live hand grenade was discovered at Ghanapriya Women's College near Raj Bhawan in Imphal, causing panic. Three militants from different valley-based outfits were arrested for extortion in Imphal West and Bishnupur districts. Police recovered a car, mobile phones, SIM cards, and cash from the arrested militants.
