Iran’s Foreign Ministry: We will respond firmly and seriously to Israel

Amid ongoing international efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs declared that it remains “firm and serious in its response to the Zionists.”

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, which is close to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated on Monday, October 28, that “our response will depend on the nature of the attack.”

The reported Israeli attacks on Iran, which are said to have caused significant damage to military installations, have heightened fears of potential instability and increased insecurity in the region.

Iranian officials have openly or implicitly emphasized that Iran will respond to the Israeli attacks. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, also stressed that Iran’s response to the Israeli attacks would be “definite and certain.”
