New Wheelchair Rugby coaching appointment
We’re extremely proud to now have Paul Shaw with us!
We are pleased to officially announce that Paul Shaw is the new Head Coach of our Wheelchair Rugby team, having officially stepped down from Great Britain duties following the conclusion of the Paralympics.
Paul, more commonly known as ‘Tez’ in the Wheelchair Rugby community, was the Great Britain Head Coach between 2013 and 2024. In his 11 year tenure, he led Great Britain to three gold medals at the European Championships in 2015, 2017 and 2019. His most notable achievement however, was leading Great Britain to a historic first ever Paralympic medal at a the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics (held in 2021), where the team won gold.
Paul will be assisted by Darren Ransome and Tom Denmead.
