Everglades GCSAA donates donates $7.5K to GCSAA Foundation
The Everglades Golf Course Superintendents Association (EGCSA) donated $7,500 to the GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). The EGCSA continues its membership with the Platinum Tee Club, which recognizes organizations that donate $5,000 or more annually to the GCSAA Foundation.
“GCSAA is grateful for the continued support from the Everglades GCSA and the chapter’s dedication to advancing the future of golf course management and the game itself,” said Rhett Evans, CEO of the GCSAA.
EGCSA is one of the 95 GCSAA-affiliated chapters in North America. Founded in 1968, it continues to serve its members by promoting and enhancing the recognition of golf course superintendents, according to the company. It continues to advance the profession through education, advocacy and fellowship.
“We are honored to continue our long-standing support of the GCSAA Foundation. Their commitment to advancing the future of golf course management is something the Everglades GCSA strongly believes in,” said Dan Brooks, CGCS, president of the Everglades Golf Course Superintendents Association. “Our donation underscores our dedication to this cause and our belief in the importance of education, advocacy and research to our industry.”
