Off the Beaten Path: Old Washington County Jail & Courthouse
SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) - Haunted Nights, a paranormal event company, has hosted haunted tours at the Old Washington County Jail and Historic Salem Courthouse for more than a decade. If you’re brave enough, you can even spend the night in the "haunted" jail cells.
Steve Brodt, the founder, and Dylan Stevens, a paranormal investigator, are the South Glens Falls High School graduates behind Haunted Nights. The company hosts tours and paranormal investigations at “haunted” locations around the country.
To this day, the historic building is one of their most popular tours. The building operates as a community center, but the duo said it will always be home to ghost stories.
After selling out this season, Haunted Night tours at the Old Washington County Jail & Courthouse will return in the spring. It's located at 58 E Broadway in Salem, New York. In 2023, NEWS10 took you inside the Saratoga County Homestead with Haunted Nights for Off the Beaten Path.
