10/28/2024: Chilly start to the work week

The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:

Cloudy, but chilly this morning as a weak cold front sinks south from the Canadian border.

Outside of a few early morning flurries in the mountains up north, we stay dry today. Even with a bit more sun in the afternoon, temperatures warm only to around 50.

Tonight looks like another chilly one, with partly cloudy skies and light winds allowing for low temperatures in the 20's and 30's by tomorrow morning.

Clouds redevelop after lunchtime tomorrow, with showers in the late afternoon and into the first par of the night. Even so, blustery winds out of the south help us warm to a high of around 60.

Even warmer behind that system, with sun and highs in the mid 70's on Wednesday. But that's not even the warmest day in the forecast... a forecast high of 78 on Halloween would set a new record for the day!

Showers develop after midnight, continuing into the first half of Friday. We then clear out and cool down to more typical fall weather for the weekend.
