Ex-Super Bowl Champion Arrested
Nigel Bradham, the former NFL linebacker who rose to prominence playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, was arrested in Florida in front of his children.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report obtained by TMZ, Bradham was pulled over in Tallahassee after allegedly driving 78 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone. His two children were in the car with him at the time of the arrest.
The report also detailed how the ex-football star admitted to law enforcement that he knew he was driving with a suspended license—seemingly not the first time this has happened, the report said. On top of that, during the traffic stop, the officer discovered that Bradham had an active arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance. As a result, the 35-year-old was taken into custody and eventually released.
It's not Bradham's first run-in with the law. He first received a ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana in New York State back in 2013. In 2016, he was arrested after a violent altercation with a Miami hotel worker and was charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, a second-degree felony; a few months later, he was arrested for bringing a loaded gun into Miami International Airport. And in 2021, the Florida native was arrested when police found guns and more than three pounds of cannabis in his car.
Bradham joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016 after spending his first four years in the league with the Buffalo Bills. He went on to reach Super Bowl glory with the Eagles in 2018.
