Saratoga Springs man arrested for alleged burglary of a Greenfield restaurant
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Saratoga Springs man was arrested Sunday following an investigation into a burglary. David Gregson, 57, faces two charges.
On Saturday around 11:30 p.m., Troopers received a call from a restaurant in Greenfield, reporting a burglary from earlier that day. An initial investigation determined Gregson allegedly forcibly entered the restaurant, causing damage to the building, stole money and then left the scene on foot.
Gregson was found a few hours later and was arrested. He was charged with burglary in the third degree and criminal mischief in the fourth degree.
After being processed at the Wilton State Police barracks, he was arraigned in the Wilton Town Court. Gregson was remanded to the Saratoga County Correctional Facility, where he is being held without bail.
