Newborn baby — with umbilical cord still attached — found dead behind NYC building

The child – with its umbilical cord still attached – was found around 11:15 a.m. on the ground in the rear of an apartment building on St. Lawrence Avenue near Gleason Avenue in Soundview, authorities and sources said.
