Motorcyclist dead in Licking County crash
GRANVILLE, Ohio (WCMH) -- A man is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a box truck in Licking County Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Licking County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at approximately 1 p.m near the intersection of Columbus Road and Silver Street near Granville for a call of an accident.
The motorcyclist, Jeffrey Hurl, 60, of Pataskala, was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff's office said Hurl was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The sheriff's office did not release details surrounding the accident, which remains under investigation.
