Jawans of the Indian Army celebrated Diwali with the villagers in Uri, Baramulla sector of LOC, sharing sweets, exchanging gifts, and lighting diyas. The army also celebrates other village festivals like Eid with them. In Gandhinagar, Swaminarayan Akshardham temple is illuminated with 10,000 diyas, and a 55-foot idol is being installed.
