GT’s official retention list: Rashid chosen as the top pick, Gill takes pay cut

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Gujarat Titans (GT) has decided to retain five players as they will enter the mega auctions for IPL which are set to happen this year.

The franchise has decided to retain Rashid Khan for 18 crore, Shubman Gill for 16.5 crore, Sai Sudarshan for 8.5 crore, Rahul Tewatia for 4 crore, and Shahrukh Khan for 4 crore.

With BCCI exploring the possibility of holding the auctions overseas, the auctions are to be held in November or December.

Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates are coming out as the possible venues for the auctions. Muscat and Doha are also being taken into consideration.
