Shrinivas Pawar, brother of deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, blames Ajit's decision to field his wife against cousin Supriya Sule for causing a rift in the Pawar family. Shrinivas has sided with senior leader Sharad Pawar and now his son Yugendra contests against Ajit Pawar in Baramati.
