Aly & AJ’s Aly Michalka Gave a Rare Detail About How Close Her Son Jack Is With Auntie AJ
It’s crazy to think that Aly Michalka from Aly & AJ is a proud mama, and that AJ Michalka is a proud Auntie. While both of them are quite private, they did share some super-sweet details, including a rare look into how AJ plans to bond with Aly’s son, Jack.
In a recent interview with EOnline, Aly talked about the joys of motherhood, and her sister AJ talked about how she’s already looking forward to trick-or-treating with her nephew.
“When he’s one for sure, Auntie will take him around, too,” AJ said at Heidi Klum’s 23rd Annual Halloween Party, talking about trick-or-treating and bonding with her nephew.
Isn’t that so sweet?! And like we said, in the same interview, Aly talked about what motherhood has been like, four months after welcoming her son Jack Francis.
“It’s really special. It’s really magical. We’re loving it,” she said to the outlet. “We can really busy ourselves with things that we just don’t need to do in our day, and motherhood just makes you zone on the things that really actually matter and are actually really important. I think that’s been good for my mental health.”
For those who don’t know, Michalka and her husband Stephen Ringer have been together since 2013 after meeting on the set of Sequoia. They got married in 2015 in Italy, and fast forward to Jan 2024, they announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Then, on April 2024, she confirmed to People that she welcomed her and Ringer welcomed their son.
In a previous interview with People, Aly revealed how she told AJ that she was pregnant, and yes, it was in such a sweet way.
“I was like, ‘There was a special guest that was at the Greek that you didn’t know was there,’ and she was like, ‘Who?'” Aly recalled to the outlet. “I was like, ‘There’s a baby,’ and I touched my stomach, and then she was like, ‘What?!’ She was just really excited and overjoyed. From there, we told the rest of the family.”
