High-profile Dem declines to endorse Kamala Harris: report
A high-profile member of the "The Squad" — a group of progressive Democratic members of the House of Representatives — declined to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday night, according to a report.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Detroit is one of just a few top Democrats who have not endorsed Harris, declining to do so at a United Auto Workers union rally, according to The Detroit News.

Tlaib, a Palestinian-American, was a speaker at the rally and has criticized the Biden administration's stance on the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza. She promoted down-ballot Democrats, but stayed quiet about supporting Harris.
She said: "Don't underestimate the power you all have. More than those ads, those lawn signs, those billboards, you all have more power to turn out people that understand we've got to fight back against corporate greed in our country."
