Nancy Boyda speaks at women's march at state capitol
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Democrats took to the capitol steps Saturday, November 2, in the pouring rain to emphasize their last push before Tuesday's election.
Many candidates and other women took to the podium to reach to their audience on all things women's rights.
After speaking, Democrats in attendance went on a women's march around the capitol.
District 2 Congressional Candidate, Nancy Boyda wants her "vote for me" to mean more in Washington D.C.
"When I win, I'm gonna be able to say that a vote for me was saying that you're done with the craziness in D.C," Boyda said. "And your ready to start rebuilding trust and rebuilding this country back and getting congress back on track."
Boyda says she found it inspiring coming into the last few days before the election, that so many men and women were out in the pouring rain to march at the rally.
