Showers will continue into the overnight hours. Temperatures will hang onto the mid-50s during the night with a southwest breeze gusting up to 25 MPH. Don't forget daylight saving ends tonight! Clocks will fall back one hour at 2AM.

Heading into Sunday, showers will continue intermittently, particularly southeast of I-35, where we expect the heaviest rainfall - estimating up to five inches by Tuesday. There is a slight chance of storms becoming strong, with a greater likelihood of severe storms developing to the south from Sunday afternoon into Monday evening.

Showers and storms will continue into the start of the work week. Scattered showers pushing through Tuesday with temperatures near seasonable. Some areas locally could see an additional 3-5" of rainfall by the end of it. We will dry out briefly for the second half of Tuesday through late Thursday before another low pressure system rolls in bringing additional round of showers and storms to northeast Kansas.
