Cricket Australia gave Massive Update on ball-tampering Allegations against India A
The last day of unofficial Test match between India A and Australia A had it’s main focus on blame for ball-tampering. Tension was visibly evident as officials decided to change the ball.
The umpire Ben Treloar and Shawn Craig were debating on whether to replace the ball with multiple India A players before the start of the Day’s game. The obvious frustration from the players resulted in a heated discussion. According to report, umpire Shawn Craig accused Indian players of scratching the ball that was being used on Saturday.
Things happened one after other and then, a report from Cricket Australia highlighted that India A players had not been accused of specifically tampering with the ball. According to the report, Umpire Craig did not explain why the ball had changed, or what he thought might have happened with the ball. A statement later on revealed that the ball had been replaced “due to deterioration.”
