Two Chhattisgarh Police constables were injured during an attack by Naxalites disguised as civilians at a weekly market in Sukma district. The assailants used sharp weapons and stole their service rifles. The injured officers were initially treated locally before being airlifted to Raipur for further medical attention. Security forces are actively searching for the attackers.
