Three clubs want to sign Spurs player in January – A decision has been made
Tottenham Hotspur make a decision on the future of one of their first-team players as three Serie A clubs circle over him ahead of January.
Spurs man proved his worth against Man City
Radu Dragusin has had to be extremely patient since his move to Tottenham at the start of this year, with the centre-back finding game time hard to come by in North London.
However, he has already demonstrated glimpses of his quality and he did so again in the Carabao Cup clash against Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Romanian hardly put a foot wrong throughout the game as the Spurs backline held firm in the second half as the Premier League champions piled bodies forward.
Tottenham make transfer decision
There has been plenty of speculation linking Dragusin with a return to Italy over recent months, and TBR Football now say that those rumours do have legs.
The outlet claims that Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are all keen on offering the Romanian a route back to the Serie A in the January window.
However, Tottenham have made it clear to those clubs that they have no intention of letting the defender leave the club, with Ange Postecoglou seeing the former Genoa man as a key part of his squad.
Big opportunity for Dragusin
While everyone associated with Spurs would be hoping that Micky van de Ven’s injury is not serious, if the Dutchman is ruled out for a month or two, that provides a great opportunity for Dragusin.
The 22-year-old will be desperate to have a run in the team so that he can show Postecoglou what he can do, and he might now finally get a chance to do just that.
