Destructive winds blown into NE 23rd & Luther Rd.

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Severe storms left a path of destruction behind during the early morning hours on Sunday.

Multiple tornadoes touched down in parts of the OKC Metro causing downed power lines. Once of those locations was NE 23rd and Luther Rd. near Harrah.

KFOR's Hunter Elyse says, "power lines are intertwined in the area and emergency crews are now staging right near the first power pole that is visibly damaged."

Traffic delays are expected, and road closures are expected.
